FlyB vs Calendly

A Calendly alternative that also builds the page and keeps the client

Calendly books the meeting, and it books it well. What it does not do is publish the page that convinced someone to book, or remember that person afterwards. For a clinic, a therapist or a consultant that gap is the whole job: the link has to live somewhere, the no-shows have to be chased, and the person who booked once has to be worth something six months later. FlyB is a booking calendar with two-way Google Calendar sync — and the site it sits on, the forms that feed it and the CRM pipeline that follows up, in one product.

What a booking link on its own leaves out

The page the link lives on

Describe your practice and the AI writes and publishes the whole site around the calendar — the services, the proof, the FAQ and the booking block. A bare scheduling link has nowhere to answer "why you".

Real availability, not just free time

Weekly time ranges, blocked dates, vacation ranges that generate no slot at all, a maximum booking window and in-person or remote appointment types with an address. Vacations are re-checked at booking time, so a page left open overnight cannot submit a slot that no longer exists.

Google Calendar in both directions

FlyB reads your existing events to hide conflicting slots and writes confirmed bookings back to the calendar. Remote appointments get a Google Meet link attached to the invite and stored on the booking.

The client record, not just the appointment

Each calendar can point at a CRM funnel and stage, so every booking creates or updates a contact in the right pipeline position with its full history — bookings, forms, emails and payments on one record.

Follow-up that runs itself

Pipeline rules send the email or the WhatsApp message, move the contact, tag it or fire a webhook. A stage can also define a maximum time and a next stage, so a lead that goes quiet is moved on automatically instead of being forgotten.

Questions asked at booking time

Each calendar carries its own custom fields, and the answers are stored on the contact — so the intake form and the appointment are the same step rather than two.

When Calendly is still the better choice

  • You only need scheduling. If you already have a site you are happy with and no interest in a CRM, a dedicated scheduling tool is a simpler thing to own.
  • You need deep meeting-tool integrations — round-robin across large teams, routing forms, several conferencing providers. FlyB syncs with Google Calendar and Google Meet; that is the integration surface.
  • Your calendar lives outside Google. FlyB's two-way sync is built for Google Calendar today.

How the switch works

  1. 1

    Connect your Google Calendar

One OAuth step. FlyB immediately starts hiding slots that clash with events already in your calendar.

  2. 2

    Set your real availability

Weekly ranges, blocked dates, vacations, how far ahead people may book, and whether each appointment type is in person or remote.

  3. 3

    Publish the page around it

Describe your practice, let the AI write the site, and point the calendar at the CRM funnel that should receive every booking.

Questions about moving from Calendly

Does FlyB sync with Google Calendar?
Both ways. It reads your existing events so conflicting slots never appear, and it writes confirmed bookings back to the calendar. Remote appointments get a Google Meet link automatically.
Can clients book without creating an account?
Yes. Each calendar has its own public booking page — the visitor picks a day on the month grid, then a time, answers whatever custom questions you set, and confirms. No account, no app.
What stops two people booking the same slot?
A slot disappears as soon as it is taken, whether it was taken in FlyB or in the Google Calendar it syncs with. Vacation ranges are checked again at submit time, so a page someone left open cannot book a slot that has since been removed.
Where do the bookings go?
Into the CRM. A calendar points at a funnel and a stage, so each booking creates or updates a contact there, carrying the answers to the calendar's own questions — and pipeline rules can then send the confirmation, the reminder and the follow-up.
